One day I came over this quote on Instagram or Facebook..I don’t really remember. It’s a quote by Paulo Coelho. 

Isn’t it incredible how so few words can have such a great meaning and impact on you? 

How many times haven’t we felt us drained by energy? …it could be people, it could be situations…sometimes we can’t put a finger on it. But our feelings tell us the truth. We can’t fool ourselves …maybe for a while…but it will hit you back. And the longer you wait, the harder it will kick you. 

Take a paus…

Pausing and self-awareness is crucial for wellbeing. 

Take a deep breath..inhale positive energy …and exhale all the tension and negativity in your body.

Why should I write these things down and what is journaling good for? 🤔

First of all I want to say that journaling can be adapted to every person. Some like to draw pictures while others write words and sentences. 

There are no rules! The important thing is to let it all out during a certain time. Just let all words and feelings come out on the paper in front of you.

Start small. Start doing it during 5 minutes only. 5 minutes per day. 🖐🏽

Journaling gives you as space to get out your anxious thoughts and remind yourself that you are enough. 🥰

Journaling helps you manage stressful situations. 🤯

Journaling gives you clarity by letting you work through decisions you are uncertain about and helping you stay in tune with your needs and decires. 🌟

Journaling helps you feel grateful for all the things you have. 💙

Finally it helps you focus on the things that are the most important to you and gain a stronger understanding of your values. 

It helps you figuring out what gives you peace and what’s too expensive for your health and wellbeing.

I am so happy to have you here on my new website and blog and I hope you will visit me here several times. 

So why have I done this site and blog?

As Simon Sinek (link) explains in his book “Start with WHY”, it’s important to figure out WHY we are doing something to be able to inspire others to take action. 

Hmmmm….Where do I start?

This year I will be 46 years old and realized that I have lived in a rat race for most of my life. I am blessed with a husband and three beautiful children (and two dogs haha) and grateful for all my experiences in life… but I also realized that I lived in a hamster wheel for many years. I lived as if I died, I would get another chance/ life just like in video games. I was never just in the moment, mindful. I was always worrying about something in the past, presence or the future… Being a perfectionist didn’t help…

My transformation

I wanted to become a psychologist before I became a dentist. Music and personal development have always been my big passions. Those are the things I worked with as much as I could, when I didn’t work at the clinic. After some difficult events in my life (that I will tell you about in later posts), I came to a conclusion:

“I was not going to spend time doing things that weren’t going to make me happy. Life is too short. “

I recreated my career. I did a life transformation and found my inner happiness and purpose again.

I have always been a very emotional person, lately I understood that I am a HSP (High Sensitive Person) which made me see a pattern in my life and understood why I had made mistakes that led me to excessive stress and burn out as a dentist several times. I was a constant people pleaser without boundaries.

Finding balance in life is one of the most difficult tasks. It’s an everyday project. It takes self awareness and boundaries to achieve it. Unfortunately that’s nothing they teach us in primary school or University. If we’re lucky we will get it from our home…

My mission: Leaving this world better than I found it!

Balance, happiness, inspiration and creativity in life is what I want to share with you on this blog and site. 

I will share mistakes I’ve done and things I wish I knew before I became a dentist or dental clinic owner. 

Things that will leave this world better than you found it. 

Shouldn’t that be everyones purpose? Feeling and spreading love and joy.
